i always remember the first time i meet eddie i came home from national school and he was doing some job for my father in tomcoole , when he came back the next morning he had a bag of sweets for me, iv never forgotten it, it was so kind and he was only a young man himself at that stage

He was always involved in parish activities and had a great loyalty to the community and parish. Eddie called in to Mam ( Madge Doyle)in Knockeen and often popped his head round the door to see daddy and talk about horses. He is fondly remembered by us all. May he rest in peace.
