Sorry to hear of Eddie’s passing. Sincere sympathy to Jimmy and the wider Rowe family on your sad loss. Hadn’t made the connection until Ger Cashin told me after Mass in Mount Carmel this morning that he was at the funeral yesterday. We grew up in William Street, around the corner from Eddie, and we would all have knocked around together as youngsters. Eddie was a likeable lad in those distant days, and from condolence messages, he carried those qualities throughout his life as a popular and respected member of his adopted county. May the light of heaven shine upon his soul and may he rest in peace.
