I have very fond memories of getting a lift on the back of Eddie's motorbike to meet the school bus, then he went very upmarket and we travelled to Barnes's Cross in the VW beetle. Eddie was such a gentleman - always had a big smile on his face. You are all in my thoughts and prayers at this sad time. I am sure you have wonderful memories to treasure from a life well lived. It's heartwarming to see how much uncle Eddie meant to so many. As a loving brother, father-in-law, grandfather and a good friend, his loss is felt deeply and widely. Our deepest sympathy goes to Eddie's wonderful partner, in life Aunt Cathy, and to his exceptional children, cousin Lorraine, Eamon, Yvonne, Allison, Fiona, and David at this very sad time.
