We were very saddened to hear of the death of Eddy and we would like to convey our sincere sympathy to Bernadette and all the Lynch family on Eddy's passing. We knew Eddy for many years and always very much enjoyed his company when we met up on our walks and on many social occasions in the League. He was a lovely man! May he rest in peace.

Our deepest sympathies to Eddie’s entire family. Eddie was a true sportsman who gave so generously of his time to help so many step into sport. He was the first ever National League of the Blind Sports Personality of the Year in 1983. We may have ran 100% but Eddie always gave 110%.

I got to know Eddy many years ago through The National League of the Blind and then we were involved in a walking group. We enjoyed many a good party and chats. Eddy always entertained us with The Lotto song. He was a man of great sport,kind and generous. Your memories will always live on. Keep singing and may you enjoy eternal rest in your Heavenly home.
