Cork City Branch of the Garda Síochána Retired Members' Association (GSRMA) offer sincere sympathy to Lynda, Gerald, Dough & Patrick on the death of a beloved spouse / father. Condolences to Ed's sisters: Kay, Marie and his brothers: D.J and Joe. Ed Carmody served as a Garda in Cork City 1963-68 period and during that time he made life-long friendships with colleagues. In 2021, he joined the GSRMA association and shared a detailed article with fond memories of days on duty 60 years ago by the Leeside. Because of his Loyal GSRMA membership the "Life & Times" of a legend lives on in Cork City / Kerry/ and Durban, South Africa.
