Edward GLEESON

I only heard last night about the passing of Edward. I was shocked and sad to hear it. I fondly remember Edward, he was handsome and charismatic. Maureen and Aisling I am thinking of you both during these very sad and difficult times. A big hug to you both.

Dear Maureen, I was contacted today by Francisco, who had heard of Edward's passing. I was very shocked and saddened to hear the news here in Kenya. It also brought back some wonderful memories of sharing that time in Kasuku Close with your family. May God give you strength in this very difficult time

Dearest Maureen and Family

My heart is heavy and the words do not do the feelings justice. Injustice, anger, despair, reason.. I don't know and i suppose i never will. All i can do is feel the tidal wave of emotions as they rush through me., even though they bring me no closer to understanding.
I am so grateful for the brief moments in time i had basking in Eds glow. He truly did glow. He had a fire inside that was infectious and it jumped from his being into yours. I was one of the lucky ones to have experienced it.
He was my cousin but he felt much more like my brother.
I will miss his light.
In my moments of quiet i gather all the love i feel in my heart and send it out to him for his journey.
