Ed's passing is a loss to all who knew him. Sincere condolences to his lovely family who were the light of his life; to his friends, and to his colleagues and students who have been thinking of him, hoping for him, and who now miss him so much.

So sad to hear this news, some of the happiest days and long nights were spent with Ed shooting short films , he was fun , patient and so talented

Deepest sympathy to Liz and the Kadysewski family on the sad passing of Ed.   I worked on several documentaries with Ed and he was a lovely person to work with - an excellent cameraman with great enthusiasm and judgment and an extensive knowledge of cinema. Always such easy and interesting company. He will be sadly missed.

Ed was a strong part of our happy group at NYU, and, to an English person, a representative of everything wonderful about America, the kindness, the positivity, and the baseball cap - along with a mutual adoration of Tarkovsky. When he moved to be with Liz in Ireland, I thought what a bold and wonderful move that was, and that he is someone who truly embraces life... it is very clear from the beautiful service just now, that this is true. Thank you for enabling us to share the service. Wishing Ed's family strength and sincerest, condolences, may you be surrounded by love.
