EDWARD (LAURI) VAUGHAN

I was very sad to hear of Lauri's passing. As was Fiona. He & Rita have been permanent fixtures in her life since the Vaughan family moved in to Bishopscourt Drive. Condolences to Rita, Frank, Denise, Eddie & Niall. Bishopscourt has lost a good neighbour, and they, a good husband, father and grandfather. Hugs to you all.

Sincere condolences to you Niall and to your mother Rita and all of your family at this sad and emotional time. Your father Lauri was a lovely man and I enjoyed chatting to him in recent years when I met him out walking. He was always thinking of others and asking me how Bill was, and also he was ever thoughtful of Izzy and concerned for her safety if she was running riot off her lead. I’m just sorry I didn’t know your father better as he always left me with a smile on my face, grateful for our chats and exchanges.
He was a gentle and kind man and a pleasure to know.

So sorry to learn of Eddie’s passing. Sincere sympathies to Rita and family.
I first met Eddie many years ago working in Tralee and subsequently at Annabella and County Hall. My first impressions of Eddie were to remain constant over my whole working life ie a kind, helpful, good humoured and sincere gentleman.
He was also a dedicated and much respected person in his chosen profession.
Regretfully I am out of the country and unable to attend the funeral Mass.
May the sod rest lightly on Eddie.
