Edward McFadden

Wishing you all sympathies on this sad occasion. Eddie was a good man with a great sense of humour & good chat. Stephen’s eulogy captured him to a T. He was Dad’s best friend & mum & him had great times together - the end of an era. May he rest in peace.

You are in our thoughts and prayers. We have so many great memories of our journey through life together. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Eddie was a much loved neighbour and good friend of my Dad John Fahey. I have fond memories quite recently of Eddie walking his dog Winston and having nice chats, he never lost his great sense of humour. I watched the funeral service and it was wonderful! Well done Stephen on a brilliant euology. Love from the Fahey family at 107.

I've known Eddie for over 50 years. I worked with him in Gross Cash Registers and then during his time in Essex Quay along with the late Bill Cranny.
Many a laugh and joke we had back then, good times still remembered.

Eddie liked nothing better than going with Jim for a few pints in Timahoe. When Jim went to Dublin they would have the return match in Campions. Eddie was a lovely jolly man.
