So sorry to hear of Neds passing .I got to know Ned many years ago when he used to come to the dog track in Thurles with the late Tom Browne and Kerin McEvoy and we would meet in Croke Park when Tipp would be playing kilkenny and have a bit of banter .I extend my sincere sympathy to his immediate family and friends May he rest in peace .

My sincere condolences to all of Ned’s loved ones. I only met him once but was very saddened to hear of his passing. A few back I was home in New York and the family and I went to one my favourite spots, the oldest pub in the States, McSorley’s Old Irish Ale House. When we told the barman that we now lived in Wexford he mentioned that he was the cousin of the famous Ned Buggy! When we got back I called into Ned’s shop. It was a very unexpected visit and we had a great laugh exchanging NY stories. He was a true gentleman. May he rest in paradise.
