Edward Is my hero. Ed has been a part of my life since my late teens. When I needed a strong family orientated male presence God sent Ed. Ed's strength of character and quiet dignity even in illness is an inspiration to all. Together with Phil and all his family I am a far better person today than I could ever have hoped to be. It has been an honour to walk some of the way through life with him. My prayers are with you

My grandad was one of a kind, a gentleman, a family's man, sometimes a joker and a hero in my life. He had a profound impact on my life from as far back as my memeries go. I remember xmasses helping him cut the meat for dinner, laughing till I nearly wet myself while he was singing "I see a mouse" and helping him trick around with things in his garage. He thought me the value of a days work, that anything can be acheived if you stick at it, the comeradery of working together to acheive a goal and the pride of completing something you built with your own hands. He never backed down from a challenge big or small, never complained, gave his time to anyone who needed it and alway had a smile or cheeky grin to lift you up. He started me on the course of life that made me who I am today. He is truly one of my heros.

Grandad, you've always been a pillar of strength for our family and taught us a lot of valuable life lesson. One of those is how to plan and save for the future. When I was younger, I could not wait to be able to join your credit union, each week giving a portion of my pocket money over to save for holidays. I am broken hearted losing you, I will miss you forever.
