Edward was a very intelligent man with an exceptional command of the English language which he put to good use when meeting and entertaining those he encountered on life's extraordinary journey. Sheila and Eddie made for a great couple and were always a joy to meet.

What can one possibly say?
We send our love, condolences, sorrow, can this go any way towards healing the damaged hearts of Eddie’s loving wife and children Sheila,Anthony,Elizabeth and Jason, his brothers, sister,grandchildren and of course the many other members of the extended family.
Our hearts are broken with yours.
That wonderful great spark has gone, but only in body. Nobody will ever forget the impish youngster, loving husband, father, carer, provider and of course natural comedian. We will all mourn his loss but passing? No! Eddie and memories of him are indelibly scored into the hearts of all who had the joy of knowing him. He will live forever in those hearts.
We live in hope of meeting again, one day!

How lovely to have that memory to treasure along with the older ones- so many from childhood in England and Ireland and from the times we managed to get together over the adult years.
There’ll certainly be a party above and I’m sure he’ll be looking down and raising a glass to us all.
