It is so sad to learn of the passing of Seddie, the last of the Cafferty family of Main Street, after so many decades of involvement in the life of Ballinamore. Seddie was one of the old stock who loved the town and its people and delighted in using the cant language when chatting the locals. His death certainly marks the end of a particular era.
