My deepest sympathy to the McCormack family on your great loss and to the wider Cavan community which has lost a most popular and loyal son. My happy memories of Teddy go back to the Boy Scouts in the 50's when he was a senior leader and so very mature as a teenager that Scout Master John Donohue had him as his right hand man. Teddy was so caring of all us young scouts, always encouraging and helpful. My late father, Tommy Gilroy, would be so appreciative of the great care and loyalty that Teddy gave to the Gaels and Terry Coyle Park. Condolences on behalf of the Gilroy family. I have fond memories of Teddy up at Terry Coyle park, he looked after the grounds so well. He also looked after the team brilliantly as team masseur, always available to give a leg rub to get the legs in motion for matches, he was the best we had. He has left an indelible mark on Cavan Gaels and will be forever fondly remembered. RIP Teddy.
