Edward (The Doc) Caraher

Just heard of the sad passing of Eddie, always the consummate gentleman and always great company, it was a pleasure to have known him. Many great times we had together over the years. Sincere condolences to Margaret & Family on such a sad loss.

So sorry to hear this very sad news. Eddie captained the Skerries RFC u19 team I played with in 1974/75. We had a great run in the McCorry Cup that year and I have very fond memories of him as a really good back row player and an excellent leader of the team. Ar dheis De go raibh a Anam.

I have just heard of Eddie's sad passing. The Doc was a once off and I have some wonderful memories when we were all daft and life was a rugby ball and a pint.
