Very sad news Eilagh was a wonderful neighbour and friend to Laura.An active member of our community in Foxrock . She will be missed by us all and remembered with great fondness.Our deepest sympathies to all her amazing family. it was a pleasure knowing her . May she rest in peace Amen..

Although I met Sheila only a few times in 2019 as we served as patient co-advocates in a HSE working group regarding rare diseases. I so enjoyed being in her company as she was such a gracious lady, full of life and a bundle of energy which was so lovingly warm. My heartfelt sympathies to you, Sinead, and to all her family.

Growing up on Beech Park knowing the McCabe / Hylands was a treat. Eilagh so welcoming, with her wide smile and shining eyes. I lost my own Mum this year and Eilagh reached out to me personally - touching and tearful.

I am thinking of you all today and of our auld pal Sheila. They are together now catching up!
