Eileen BURGESS

I have many good memories of Eileen, she was at our house every weekend and every holiday for many many years. Before dad’s illness progressed, Eileen was as much of a member of the family as anyone. She will be missed.

Deepest sympathies on the death of Eileen. I always remember Eileen as a kind and gentle natured lady who was always kind to me and my family, when we would visit her and Aunt Kathleen and Uncle Tommy in Marlborough Road. She and my late Mother, Cora Stafford, enjoyed long and interested chats together by phone. May She Rest In Peace.

She was very dedicated to her job and as she was the senior person in the company, she was most helpful to new recruits, including myself. Such a lovely lady, she was Matron of Honor at my Aunts wedding and took all us young flower girls under her wings. Lovely memories of afternoon tea with her in Marlborough Road and the lovely little pug dog sitting on her lap.

RIP Eileen, a real lady. It was lovely to be your next door neighbours for many years. We use to love a chat at the door and she always remembered the kids at Christmas. A kind and gentle soul.
