My mam Nell Hinchion nee Scanlan was a first cousin of Eileen.
I used to hear many stories about her city cousins in Capwell Road, Cork.
I can remember this particular day when Eileen, Mary and Sheila came to Crookstown to collect my mother and went off on a tour of the country where many stories were exchanged.
May Eileen now be at peace and be reunited her loving husband Les.

Deepest condolences to Brian, Jean & all the family on the loss of Eileen. So many happy memories when Lesley & Eileen came home to Cork for visits, and our trips to Birchen Grove as a teenager were full of fun. Calling to number 37 was always a pleasure, even in more recent years. Eileen had a glint in her eye, was always smiling & laughing, and made us feel so welcome. She will be hugely missed.
