Heartfelt condolences to Michael, Mikey and Mary on the sad passing of your wife and Mam. I have great memories of playing with Jean, Mikey and Mary and being lucky enough to sample a freshly baked slice of your Mam's wonderful soda bread or a glass of her homemade elderflower lemonade. Always with a dog or two by her side, she never failed to bring them on their morning and evening walks over Daly's hill, whatever the weather!
She is reunited with Jean now and the many animals she said goodbye to over the years. May she rest in peace.

Deepest sympathy to the Conroy family on the passing of Eileen. She was a family friend since I was young and I have happy memories of her bringing me, my brother Bryan and Jean and Michael around Daley's Hill and The Castle Park. A wonderfully no-nonsense woman with a heart of gold she endured ill-health and the tragic passing of Jean in her later years, but she never lost her fighting spirit. I was so grateful that she came to not only the funeral for my mother last year but also the prayers the evening before, as she must have been in a great deal of pain. Her presence alone gave me comfort, especially as I hadn't seen her in far too long. As far as I'm concerned she was and always will be a local legend.
