I was really sad to hear of Eileen’s death. She was my mother’s (Kathleen Ryan) first cousin and Mam talked about how Eileen and herself played together as children when she visited Thomastown.

I only today {Sunday 2nd June } heard that Eileen had died. I lived in one of her apartments across from Buddy Carroll's many year's ago and although she was my Landlady I got on very well with her and she was forever trying to get me to learn Bridge but I couldn't get the hang of it. To Mark And Garry and especially Jim sincere condolences on Eileen's passing. When Jim called into my shop a couple of weeks ago to buy a few pkts of veg seeds I thought it odd indeed. Because amongst my very regular Spring Customers each year was Eileen. I always associated her with growimg vegitables and was very knowledgible on all aspects of gardening as well as many other hobbies which she shared.
