Eileen was an absolute lady and was kind enough to share her experience with me when I was new to the role of CPC. She was always dedicated to her work and had a great sense of humour. Eileen often spoke of what was happening in your lives and her pride in you both was very evident. May she rest in everlasting peace reunited with your Dad.

My Sympathies to Eileen’s children and extended family. I played golf with Eileen late on Tuesday evenings when we both finished work. She was excellent company and had plenty of advice when my Husband Mervyn fell into bad health. I also enjoyed playing bridge with her. May Eileen RIP.

Although i didnt know your mum, you always spoke so highly of her Ivan. She was very lucky to have such loving children in yourself and Laura and her passing will leave a great void in your lives. Find comfort in all the wonderful memories you have of her, I won't make the funeral but you are in my thoughts and prayers as you celebrate your mum's life. Take care and i will see you on the dance floor soon x

I still cannot believe it. A trip to Ireland is not the same without the gracious hospitality, love and culinary treats by our Irish Mum, Eileen! Meanwhile I'll have to get my own condolences from the fresh air, the beautiful flowers she cared for, the animals (cats in particular), birds and of course her people, Laura, Ivan and extended family as well as her golf and bridge friends. Welcoming with open arms does not capture her hospitality and warmth she gave all of us -- we all soon became part of the family. I will miss that zest for exploring and enjoying every minute of life and laughs for sure and and I'm grateful for Laura and Ivan who inherited that commitment to a more global sense of family. Thanks all and Eileen, enjoy the fruits of your labour and the glory of your work in your new realm. I'll see you in the flowers and plants and parks and little innocent creatures when I visit Ireland next. With love, Raj.

Sincere sympathy to Ivan and Laura on the passing of your Mother Eileen .It was very sad news this morning that i heard Eileen had passed away. A very dear friend ,always there if you needed her . We played a lot of golf together over the years and Eileen would say if she could drive like me and i could putt like her we would be a perfect pair. We got a laugh from that . I will always remember her as a good ,kind and gentle person . She loved her family very much and was very proud of them and they in turn were very proud of her who worked so hard for them after the passing of their Fathefr.

I very well remember Eileen , Waterford Hospital.
It's an understatement to say that Eileen was a most
DECENT
PERSON.
So decent in a female world of a Nursing career.
She had in abundance,
what money & circumstances
can NOT deliver,
ONLY pure CLASS.,,,,
Eileen was born with it.

So so sorry to learn ,by phone,via my Irish Family,today, of Eileen's death

Eileen's Son & Daughter,
her Sister & Brother,
& extended Family,
have so much to be very sad at this sad time of Eileen's death.

RIP Eileen,
after a well lived life, & not an easy one, being widowed with a young Family,who she absolutely loved to bits.

I spoke to Eileen @a cancer fundraiser in Faithleg Hotel ,
& SHE clearly said
how her OWN FAMILY,
AND
Her IN-LAWS were so good to her.
She NEVER forgot. NEVER.

It's what good Irish Families are made of.
Good when needed
& NOT just sweet whitewash talk.

Eileen, who was always stylish, polite, conscious,& kind .

Eileen was full of gratitude,for life itself

Laura, I am so sorry for the heartbreaking loss of your mother. Though I never had the pleasure of meeting your mum in person, I always enjoyed our video chats while you were in Ireland. Even from a distance, I could see that "Mrs. Cuddihy" was the sweetest, kindest person—someone I feel like I’ve known forever. These past few weeks, as she fought so bravely, I have seen that same strength in you—it’s clear she was an incredible woman. Your mum will always be with you, and you will carry her spirit forward.
