I am so sorry and sad to hear of Mrs Doherty's passing. She taught me throughout my time in Loreto Community School and I have very fond memories of her classroom. She had a great way of teaching, strict when she needed to be but also had a lovely sense of humour and she always had her students best interest at heart. One of the few teachers I had that I felt actually cared about us. I can't even imagine the loss that her family are feeling now.
