Thinking of John as you say goodbye to your dear companion, Eileen. Sending my condolences to Frank Kearney and all Eileen’s extended family. I grew up next door to Eileen. She always had a great welcome for me, I enjoyed the many visits. I have fond memories of Eileen. May she rest in heavenly peace alongside her beloved Martin.

May you now enjoy the glory of heaven and reunited with your dear Martin . Every time I was in Dunmore I visited Eileen and she was such a joy to visit … always received me with open arms. For us as kids she was the “Queen of Carrokeel” - a legend in her own time - Her Christmas cake was to die for (even in the middle of July)- will always remember taking the Egan bypass road for a cup of tea, on the way home from the bog!
