Greatly saddened to hear Eileen has died.

Her warmth and good humour brightened up many of our days in Mercantile and her infectious laugh still echoes in my memory.

Sincere condolences to all of Eileen's extended family at this sad time. I have fond memories of Eileen as a kind and considerate neighbour in Whitehall, a fellow animal lover, and a talented performer and friend in Corpus Christi Musical Society. May God welcome her into the Choir of Angels in Heaven.

Aunt Eileen was was alovely cheerful lady I. Have great memories of her she got on with everybody my husband and I are glad we got to see her before the Covid even my neighbour's thought she was a lovely person she got well with them. May she rest in peace

I was so very sad to hear the news of Eileen's passing. She was the best of friends with my Auntie Angela (Murtagh) who passed 15 years ago. We last saw Eileen in June 2016 when she came to visit my Mum & Dad with my Auntie Gerry (Whyte) and we spent a lovely afternoon and celebrated her Birthday with cake & tea. All of my family loved Eileen - she was such a special lady and will be very fondly remembered. RIP Eileen - I'm sure you're up there with Angela having a cuppa "Rosie Lee" - you'll always have a special place in our memories. RIP
