I only saw this death notice now. Sorry for your loss. I’ll always remember hearing your mum signing ‘opera’ out the back. It brings back a smile. You’re in my thoughts at this time.
To my amazing sisters who so gracefully and selfishly looked after mammy in her last days, respecting her dignity and wishes. Mags you were amazing, Karin you too were amazing, always visiting her, taking her for beautiful walks, and Barbara always keeping her smelling beautiful in Burberry! Thank you for always being there for mammy. We were blessed to have her for so long. She give us her wisdom and is now with the ones she loves. In her own way, she got the last word in. I am always here for you and I love you all. Your sister, Eileen xx
G'day Grannie Ireland,
We love you dearly and are sorry you are no longer here. So here's our chance to say thank you and remember all the amazing things about you!! Thanks for taking us to the chickens to get eggs, thanks for all the see-saws on your lap, thanks for all the singing (there was lots grannie), thanks for always taking us for walks to the picnic tree, to the zoo, to Fore, the castle, and the beach. We remember our posh pizza in Bunbury, our fish and chips at Busselton by the pier, and our laughs at the sea gulls. Life was always an adventure with you grannie. We had great times Grannie. And even though you were on the other side of the world you were only a face-time call away. You were more than a grannie, you were our grannie who made us laugh. We will love you always, the Mckenzie boys (Australia) xxx
