Heartfelt Condolences to Eileen's daughters and sons and extended family. She was so proud of all of you. I first met her over 50 years ago through our mutual involvement in various Local Community Affairs, included the early days there were the TCA 's Crafts Stall in the Casba Market , Eileen's regular contribution to that "enterprise" was a number of her delicious Bakewell Tarts which were snapped up as soon as she arrived with them.she volunteered for a long number of years with Meals-on Wheels and recently there was Togher Wednesday Social Group. Eileen gave generously of her time and talents to all she became involved in.
Rest in Peace Eileen after a life well lived.

Our members were saddened to hear that our longtime member Eileen had died and we send our sincere sympathy to her sons and daughters and extended family. Eileen was a wise and witty lady and always willing to lend a hand in support of our activities. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam dílis.

She was always so lovely to meet and was a great friend to my Mam Iris. She always had a funny story or a bit of news to tell.

Sincere sympathy to all the Galvin family on the passing of your beautiful Mum. I have very fond memories of your Mum. She was such a kind and thoughtful lady. I remember moving to Dublin years back and she gave me a present of a fabulous map book of Dublin which I always treasured.
