Sr Greenan was very kind to student nurses. There was an electrical storm one night and we had gone over to the night canteen from Hardwicke. When our break was over Sr Greenan wouldn't let us go out to cross Morning Star Avenue in the storm. She was afraid we would get hit by lightening! We were delighted with our extended break. Rest in peace Sr.Greenan

RIP Sr Greenan. Fond memories of night duty in the Richmond. Many a cup of tea was shared. Reading all the condolences from Richmond nurses is a trip down memory lane. Our October 82 PTS group had a lovely 40th reunion in the Richmond last October and shared many stories.

So sad to hear we have lost another nursing great. I, like so many others have wonderful memories of her from night duty in the Richmond and Beaumont. More recent memories of her visits to Beaumont for the annual Active Retirement Raffle. She would remember all her old staff by name and had kind words for them.
