Your dad too, strongly comes to my mind. He was one of life's great gentlemen and they were so well matched. And both greatly missed. C.

.I know this lady is in heaven with the angels where she belongs. She was like a mother to me when I was at a critical , difficult time in my young life. She will be with John, her husband and filling him in on the news. ( That's my way of coping with a great loss )

I was very sad to hear of Eileen’s passing. Eillen was a very kind caring person.
Eileen always greeted me with kind words and had a wonderful way of making me feel special especially as a teenager.
Eileen had an amazing talent for knitting and I was honored when she knit a beautiful outfit for our newborn son over twenty years ago.

So so sorry to hear of Eileen's passing. I have very fond memories of herself and John's visits to New York to visit Ray back in the day, and of her kindness in putting me up in Churchtown from time to time. A remarkable lady and a beautiful couple. My thoughts are with you all.
