I’m so saddened to hear of the passing of lovely Eileen.
My heartfelt sympathy to her Daughters, extended Hanlon and Colloty Family.
Special thoughts and condolences to her Partner John (Buckley).
I had the privilege of meeting Eileen at Knockavilla Friendship Club where she would regularly attend with John.
Over the years I got to know what a beautiful and special Lady Eileen was.
She was one of the kindest and sincere women I’ve ever had the privilege to know.
She would regularly sing during out Thursday mornings and our outings over the years. What a sweet and gentle voice she had. It was so pure and sweet. Her eyes would light up as she sang and we were all mesmerized by it. What a gift she had.
I would meet Eileen and John at the Steam Rally in Innishannon on many occasions.
With a welcoming cup of tea and homemade brown bread together. Treasured memories.
The warmth I felt in her presence I will always cherish. She would give me the biggest hug and I knew it came straight from the heart.
I will miss her terribly.
I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers in the difficult weeks and months ahead.
May Eileen’s beautiful and gentle soul rest in peace Amen 🙏.
