So sorry to hear the sad news of Eileen's passing. She always had a beautiful smile and I will always remember her being so proud of Amy and Sarah playing 'Snip & Snap' in school plays. Thinking of you all at this sad time.

So sorry to hear of the death of Eilean. Knew her well when she lived in kilquade. Many a good nite we had in the Grove bar.may she rest in peace

Eileen, I can't believe you're gone from us. We were childhood friends, grew up a few houses apart. I've never forgotten your exceptional energy for life, your wit, your kindness, your capacity to share and bring fun and adventure into the lives of anyone lucky enough to hit your orbit. You were an amazing person. My deepest sympathy to all the family.

So sorry to hear the news...I grew up on the same road and have such fond memories of Eileen and all her brothers and sisters, particularly Sandra who was my close friend. I can still picture Eileen, always happy and smiling. May she rest in peace.

We are shocked and completely stunned to hear of Eileen's passing. She was our next door neighbour for many years and was full of fun and good humour, even meeting her just a few weeks ago she was the still a bright spark with twinkling eyes. So, so, sorry Martin and Daniel and Amy.

I was shocked to her of Eileen's death today. I hadn't seen her for ages as our children have gone their separate ways since leaving school. I bumped into her a few months ago and had a catch up, she still had the wit and one liners! RIP Eileen, its all behind you now.

With much love from me and my family to all of you Kennedys and MacSweeneys. What a loss to have to bear. But you know that all your friends and loved ones will help you to bear it. We're always there, you just have to ask or, maybe better, we just have to know.

Very shocked and deeply saddened to hear such tragic news......my thoughts are with Eileen's children, Daniel and Amy. Also, her loving partner Martin.....a very bright light has gone out today.....she will be sadly missed. Leoparstown on St. Stephens Day won't be the same again !! May she rest (and sing) with the Angels xxx

We were very sorry to learn of Eileen's sudden death. She was a great neighbor to us and a second mother to our son Tyler. She will be sadly missed by us all. We offer our deepest sympathy to Martin, Daniel and Amy.

I'm so sad to hear about Eileen's passing, Martin. I know how much music meant to her and I'm glad I shared a part of that with her. I am also very grateful that she gave me all her favourite songs to play. I will treasure them. My sincerest condolences to you and all of Eileen's family.
