Eileen was a pleasure to work with during the many years that I knew her as a colleague in Cork City Council. Gentle ,quiet and dignified she was most obliging and was always among the first to volunteer if ever there was a chance to help her colleagues or the public. It was with great sadness that we learned of the untimely passing of our much loved, respected and valued colleague and friend Eileen.
