It is with deep regret that I learn of the passing of Eileen. I wish to extend my deepest condolences to Bernie and the entire family. She was a lovely and very warm hearted woman with a big and generous heart. She was loved dearly by all who knew her and she will be deeply missed and fondly remembered. May she rest in peace with her beloved Jim in their eternal reward.

Hard to believe that Mrs. McNelis, who was a huge part of my childhood growing up in Dangan, is now gone. She was a warm, committed and gracious person who will be sorely missed. It was with great sadness I learn of the death of Mrs. Eileen NcNelis.
She was my first teacher when I began school at Old School Dangan.
She was such a loving and caring Teacher and never forgot her students.
It was always a joy to encounter her when I had the opportunity to celebrate Mass in Dangan. On my visits home from USA.
She leaves behind a rich legacy of teaching and forming the young minds of countless generations of children who had the privilege of passing through her Class Room. She gave so generously in everything she did.
Summerhill has lost one of their Greatest!!
I thank God for have had the privilege of knowing her and my life has been the better for It.
