I have lovely childhood memories of playing out on Roebuck Road, on those long summers evenings and your Mum would be keeping an eye on us, she was your number one supporter through life, thinking of you all at this very sad time.

Maurice, you are in my thoughts and prayers at this incredibly sad and difficult time. Eileen was such a lovely lady, she was full of kindness and her laughter had a generous hint of mischief. I always enjoyed seeing her in the Church, whether it was at a hospitality event or while setting up for the Bridge Club with her right-hand man, Maurice. She will be missed by us in Clonskeagh Parish. Maurice and family may God hold you all in the palm of His hand, and may Eileen rest in peace.

I have fond memories of childhood days in Marley where the Hayes family were good friends and great neighbours. Eileen was a nice, kind and friendly person who will be missed by all who knew her.
