She was really committed to her faith , full of wisdom, Fun & great company to be with. Also she spanned the generations &was just as much at home with young people as her own age group. I have no doubt that she is resting in the arms of Jesus & Our Lady whom she served so well. Rest in peace Eileen until we meet again.

Deepest sympathies to Pearse, Noreen, Gerard and Connor and your families on the death of Eileen. She and your Dad Conor had lots of games of cards and fun in our house in Bishopstown. They were great friends altogether especially when the men were from Galway and the women from Roscommon. I often met Eileen when I was working in Galway and visited your Dad lots of times too when he was in hospital. They were a lovely couple. Please God they will all meet in Heaven and can renew old friendsips and play more cards!

Like Conor and Eileen, my father and mother came from Galway and Roscommon respectively. Both couples became steadfast lifelong friends and I have many happy memories of meeting them over the years. I am terribly sorry to hear of Eileen's passing. Kindness came naturally to her; she was very aware of the circumstances of those around her, and generous and genuine in her attentiveness. She was comforting in times of need. She was always good for a laugh, and she had marvellous energy! She will be sorely missed on our road, and she will be fondly remembered.
