Deepest sympathy to Michael and family on Eileen’s death. She was a lovely, lively, warm and kind person. Brendan came to work in the Office of Public Works with my dad Sean Ingoldsby, on the day that I was born, and they soon became great friends. That friendship between our families deepened when Brendan married the beautiful Eileen, and we have very fond memories of her. She was also very kind to our late stepmother Frances. She always spoke so proudly of her son Michael and family. May she rest in peace.

Our sincere sympathy to Michael and all the family - Eileen and Brendan were the most wonderful neighbours to us and our family all through the years. She was a very special person, may she enjoy her Heavenly Home.

Our thoughts are with the Morrissey family during this difficult time. Each time we saw Eileen she was cheerful and smiling and that's how we will remember her. I think fondly of the beautiful dinner I had in Dublin with her and Brendan followed by a drive out to Howth. And on another visit, the fun family dinner we had at their golf club which leaves us with great memories.
I'm sure she feels blessed with how often Mick and the family made it from Boston back to Dublin to visit her. |Her spirit will live on.

Although our paths didn’t cross much over the years. I remember how your mom made me laugh and was always so thoughtful. Visiting her and Brendan in Ireland is a memory we will always carry. We were very saddened to hear that Eileen had passed. She was such a vibrant and energetic woman. We had visited her many times on our visits to Dublin and she would always welcome my family into her home for a chat and tea with open arms.
