My sincere condolences to Eileen’s family. She was the most amazing lady. I had the fortune to work with her as I trained to become a pharmacist and for the first few years of my practice, over 20 years ago. My sincere condolences to Eileen's husband, sisters and brother at this extremely sad time. I was so shocked to call into the McCartans this morning and find out that Eileen had passed. I knew Eileen for many years back as far as when Mr. & Mrs. Digan were the chemists at Sutton Cross and she was particularly kind to me over the years. Eileen was the epitome of kindness, caring and compassion - a true lady. She made time for everyone and touched peoples' lives in so many ways and it was it an honour to have known her. I will think of her often and pray that she will help you come to terms with her huge loss. May Eileen rest in eternal peace.

I was so sorry to hear of Eileen’s passing. I met Eileen a long long time ago when my Mum managed Digans pharmacy and Eileen worked alongside her back in the late 70’s.. fast forward to McCartans pharmacy and Eileen continued to have so much time for Mum and all the Mullen family. When my own boys arrived, this thoughtfulness continued. Such a gentle person, always with advice and a smile. Sending lots of love and sympathy to her husband Joe and all her family. Heart broken at the sad news of the passing of our dear friend and my work colleauge of over sixteen years in Sutton Cross. She was always such a kind, compassionate and strong person and so well loved by all. She put in such a brave battle but is now at rest. She will be missed by all who knew her. I was devastated to hear the news of Eileen's death. I worked with Eileen in the late 80s and she was so patient with me and she taught me so much useful stuff that I have used throughout my working career and no doubt her high standards are being met in the Heaven that she is now residing in.

I was very saddened to learn of Eileen’s passing, and send my sincere condolences to Eileen’s husband, John, and the Morrissey family. I worked with Eileen in Sutton Cross, both in Digans and McCartans, and she was always pleasant, obliging and co-operative to me. She was unfailingly helpful, and it was all done in her quiet manner, and with a smile. She will be sadly missed by all her family, and by all those she worked with. May she rest in peace.
