Condolences to the Moughan family on your loss. I have such fond memories of family holidays in Ballymoe as a child. My Mother Maureen (Mary) Kelly used to take us 'home' to Ireland (from Manchester) and kept up the link with Eileen until her death in 2005. Eileen always made us so welcome and had such goodness in her heart. She personified the spirit of the Irish in her passion for life, people, her country and for making everyone so welcome.... Sincere condolences to all the Moughan and Kelly families on your sad loss. I am saddened to hear the news. Mrs Moughan, as we respectfully addressed her during our student days at the Mercy Convent Secondary School in Castlerea, was our wonderful Irish Teacher during our 5 years there. She had such a love of the language she taught and a gifted way of bestowing her knowledge of it to her students in a warm and caring way which included every student in the class. We always looked forward to seeing her come into our classroom with her "Dia Duit a Cailini" because she was just one of those very affable people whose company one felt good in. I remember her as being so warm-hearted and kind, with a beautiful smile that formed part of her teaching skills. She was one of those rare individuals who made a lasting impression on me, so much so that I have often thought of her over the years and hoped that she was keeping well. No doubt your family will miss you terribly ...... but rest well Mrs Moughan for you have earned your eternal reward with flying colours. Suaimhneas siorai do d'anam.
