Our heartfelt condolences on the death of Aunty Eileen to Ciarán, Sara, William, Ellen, and Eileen's brother Pat and sisters in law Mary and Marie.
Eileen (Éanna) was an incredibly warm and generous lady who together with Morty opened her home to us each summer for wonderful fun filled holidays of song and laughter. I fondly remember Morty serenading her with "The Spinning Wheel". Eileen, a chara .....
From Eileen I learned her strong work ethic, how to wallpaper and a love of roses.
Áine and Ciarán completed Morty and Eileen. Clonliffe Road was a happy and vibrant home. I will miss Éanna.
