Terri and family. I am so sorry for you all on the loss of your wonderful mother. She was some woman. I always enjoyed chatting with her and she would call me over to sit with her and give her all my news whenever I met her at Terri's house.
I always smile at the memory of the day that Terri and I graduated from university and Mrs. O'Sullivan was buying Terri a frame for her degree. I decided not to get one because I didn't like them but Mrs' O, feeling sorry for me because my own mother had died a year earlier and wasn't there to buy one for me, decided that I was only saying I didn't like them because I couldn't afford to buy one and she couldn't have that - she felt that I had to have one too - so she went and bought me one. I couldn't tell her that I didn't like them because she thought they were lovely and she was so pleased with herself for getting me one, so I thanked her and put my degree cert into it and we all admired it. I never took it out of that frame.
She was so determined that I wouldn't lose out because my mother wasn't there.
She had a heart of gold, I was extremely fond of her. I know you will all miss her, she was a big presence in your lives but it's time for her to find her peace now and I know she will get the best bed in heaven.
