Eileen O'Sullivan

On the sad passing of Eileen, please accept our sympathies to Neilus, Donal, Muiris, Eilís and Marie Noelle, Denis Cronin and the extended O'Sullivan, Cronin and Dineen families.
She was bridesmaid at our parents wedding, (Pad Joe and Maureen Lonergan), and a wonderful friend always to Maureen and like the sister she never had.

Our sincere sympathies to the O'Sullivan and Cronin family on the loss of Eily, may she be granted eternal peace. Our dear mother Peg (R.I.P) was very fond of her Cronin cousins, may those gone before us be reunited now in heaven.

It is with deep regret that we have just heard of Eilys passing . She was such a good friend and confidant to my Mum Breda and she was so good to our brother Aidan during summers in Ardmore .Conn and Eily were such good friends of my parents .Deepest sympathy to Conn and all the family and so sorry to have missed being at her funeral .

She was such a lovely person; a great colleague and wonderful friend to our mam - which friendship extended throughout their retirement years. Ironic they should be in adjoining rooms at Nazareth House for our mam's final days.

It was with deep sadness I heard of the passing of Eily. Like many others I have wonderful memories of time spent with her in the Infant Room.
She was both a lady and an amazing teacher. A great friend of my mother also. With regret I won’t be able to attend her funeral. But on behalf of all the Mc Hugh family I extend our deepest condolences to all her family.

Mrs. O’Sullivan was hugely respected by her pupils, the parent body and by all in the Castletownroche community.
She had the ability to allow every child to be the best that he/she could be, she could be firm but always fair and very kind to every child in her care.
We were privileged to call her our teacher.
Her funeral Mass was a very fitting tribute to the lovely lady that Eileen was and to her well lived and long life.

She role modeled the value of a good haircut and how to turn an item of clothing into a classy outfit - her "bit of style". She moved through this life demonstrating calmness, serenity and grace. She leaves a huge gap and her lasting legacy will live on in us all. May her gentle soul rest in eternal peace, reunited with her dear departed family.
