Your Mum Eileen was a close friend of my Mum. Kitty McGwynne. Unfortunately Mum died in 1972 at 43 but before she passed your mum would be up to see her and she always looked like a model/great style and was so nice to our family. So sorry for your loss. 🙏

Great memories of my Aunty Eileen from the early 60's onwards when I was a little boy growing up in Drogheda. Michael and Eileen had a little terrier dog called Tara before the two boys Patrick and Terry came along. I think they drove a fancy Ford Anglia with cool tail fins like the one in the Harry Potter films. Eileen was always the glamourous aunt with her 60's style Jackie Onassis type glasses. I remember Michael and Eileen in the family business Powers Drapery store at 41 Shop Street Drogheda with a futuristic mechanism where the money shot around the shop in a flying container on overhead wires when you paid for stuff and your change and receipt came back from the cashier. Eileen was also a keen gardener and a lovely woman. She will be sorely missed. RIP Eileen.
