My sincerest & heartfelt condolences to all that mourn Eileen. Eileen was once my English teacher some 25 years ago, she gave me such a love of the subject and brought me solace at times (even still) through different passages that have remained in my head. I never read a novel till I met her and now the novel she gave me to read I have given to so many others to borrow over the years and I always mention her whilst doing so, there are few teachers that leave an imprint on us but she was one of a small handful that did leave a massive imprint on me when I needed it most.
I am so sorry for your great loss but always know that she was a beautiful, kind, gentle soul and I blessed to have crossed paths with her, may she rest in eternal peace.

She was a great geography teacher even though I still have no sense of direction. She was a wonderful caring neighbour. I have a lovely candle holder she gave me, for my 50th birthday, and now going forward I shall always not just think of her when I light it, but pray for her every time I light it! RIP Eileen x

I'm deeply saddened to hear of the death of Eileen. We served on the committee of The Education Centre, Tralee at the same time. Eileen was always so pleasant & friendly and I clearly recall her lovely, engaging speaking voice.
