On behalf of the board, staff and service users of Stewarts Care, we extend our sincere sympathies to your family on the passing of Eileen.

Eileen is remembered with great affection by those at Stewarts. She has been a friend of Stewarts over decades, having come to know us through a social participation programme, run with the neighbouring Mount Sackville school, where she was a secondary student. She, along with her friend Frances, attended many social occasions, dances, drama rehearsals, trips to plays and dinners to name but a few and came to know so many of our residents. She kept in contact over the years and had recently visited and enjoyed a catch up with her friends here to remember old times. Residents will remember her fondly and saddened to hear of her passing.

Sincere condolences to James and the Barry and Ryder families. I had the pleasure of getting to know Eileen when I worked in MABS and she was in the CIS in Dun laoghaire. She was so knowledgeable and always happy to share that knowledge with others, she was a lovely person and I am so saddened to hear of her passing. May her gentle soul rest in peace.
