So sorry to hear of Eileen's passing, a lovely woman and great neighbor for many years. My condolences to all the family.
— Paul Confrey
My condolences to all the family. I had the pleasure one day of meeting Eileen at the Clinique counter in house of fraser. I did her makeup, we chatted for ages and i loved hearing all about her wonderful husband and family. After that day we became good friends. My best days in work was when Eileen would pop in and see me. I will truly miss our wonderful friendship and all our chats on the phone. You have been a great friend and i could not have been more lucky to have met you. Fly high Eileen, enjoy the dancing. Love you to the moon and back ❤️

Condolences to all of Eileen’s family and friends, Eileen was a one of a kind. She will be sadly missed by us all. There was never not a tear shed from all the laughter we had when we were with her. I personally will miss her dancing especially with her life size Santa at Christmas in the hall. Eileen took nothing for granted, she enjoyed life and everyone she shared it with. She was very proud of her family and spoke about them daily. May our beautiful friend rest in peace.

Eileen and the Whelan family came into our lives in 1982. Eileen. aka,Nanny, helped in a big way to rear our two girls, Fionnuala and Maeve, nurturing them through childhood, and John took them fishing. They formed a bond that lasted into adulthood, and John and Eileen were present at all our family celebrations. Eileen was the kindest, warmest, most caring person, and great company. We will treasure your memory and always remember your smile. Rest in peace now.
