We enjoyed in 2011, when Eileen, Fr Walter Mc Namara and her sister Ena stayed with us in Achill. I met Eileen another time when she visited Achill, with her retired friends. Great memories of meeting her in West Clare too.

Dear Oonagh and all the White family,

I am so so sorry to hear of Eileen’s passing. I wanted to send my heartfelt sympathy to you all.

Even though Maidenform has now closed, I think back on those days, especially the earlier year’s. Eileen is always going to be a big part of those memories. Eileen was the first to support us all when we were starting out as new employees, introducing changes or under pressure to make something happen. Eileen worked tirelessly and contributed so much. What I remember most is how kind, warm and easy she was to talk to. She truly was a really lovely person.

I’m very sorry that I’m away at the moment and can’t be there to pay my respects in person.

Please know you are all in my thoughts.
Eileen will always be remembered.
