I knew Eilís from our days at the parachute club and Eilís was always so friendly towards us.
When we bought a house Eilís came by specially one day with a lump of coal and a hunk of bread and the good wishes that we would never be cold or hungry. Lovely and kind hearted Eilis RIP.

Sincere sympathies to Sean. Mamie and the wider Quirke and Basset family. I was so saddened to read of the death of Eilish. She was a lovely girl to work with. I remember her well from our days in Bank of Ireland Carlow. We touched base again when I landed in her home town of Arklow, and then again when Eilish was working on the “Help Desk” in Cabinteely. Many’s a day I relied on and was grateful for her assistance. She was such a friendly and gentle person. Will be missed by all who knew her.
