Sincere sympathy to Eilis’s nieces, nephews, extended family and friends on the death of Eilis. Eilis was a great friend of my mother Philomena Newman (Murtagh) who passed on in 2011. They met through their housekeeping work in Dublin and kept up the friendship when my mother got married and returned home to Longford. There were many happy visits to Eilis’s house in Parkgate St and meet ups in town or in my house along with their other friend Philo Conroy RIP. I remember Eilis as a very warm, friendly and gentle person with great energy. May her gentle soul rest in peace.
