Dear Karin, Barry and Lisa,
I was so sorry to hear about your gorgeous mum. Thinking back to when Peter and I would visit you all as kids, your mum has always been a total powerhouse, fun-loving and with a cheeky sense of humour! I’ll miss her instantly-recognisable voice on the odd occasion I still answer the landline at our family home.
Eilis has been such a huge part of my mum’s life and she will be missed beyond words - not just by Mum, but all of her old Sacred Heart school pals.
Raising a glass and sending so much love,
Jenny and family xx
Reading through these condolences, I see, and am not surprised, that Eilis was much loved and left her mark on many people. Special lady. I had the privilege of dining with her and Barry several times in Lisbon, and she left a mark on me as well.
My sympathies to all of Eilis' immediate and extended family. Her mother Annie and my father, Jack, were first cousins who knew each other well from their youth around Falcarragh. May Eilis rest in peace.

Dear Lisa, Barry and Karin,

My condolences on the passing of your beautiful mum Eilis. Being the youngest offspring of the Halloween gang and having been around for a lot of the Halloween trips, I’ve fond memories of Eilis who was always so happy and joyous. She will be greatly missed by my parents and I’m sure they will raise a glass or two to her, and Conor, in October and sing some songs in French.

Thinking of you all,
Claire, Ross, Eilidh and Lewis
For Lisa Barry & Karin Diarmuid & Karl and all the O’Sullivan family(s). You have indeed lost a treasure of a sister, mother, friend.

I met Eilis through my friendship with Eoin & Maureen. She loved her brothers and sister unconditionally…. She gifted them beautiful family memories by way of videos for special birthdays.
She and Maureen became ‘sisters’ and were always there for each other.
She travelled to Portugal to see her beloved Barrys latest thespian production.
Always a sister, wife, mother, friend … she gifted her presence endlessly.
You all will miss her greatly….what beautiful memories to treasure.

Rest in peace Eilis
Catherine

Dear Lisa, Barry and Karin,
I am so sorry to hear of your lovely Mum. Her photo captures her essence beautifully.
Memories flashing through my mind of her life in Foxrock in early years.
She will live on, with your Dad, in each of you and your families.
Bless you all.
Lisa, Barry and Karin and your uncles, aunts and cousins must be in a deep state of shock at the death of dear Eilis.
The long messages of Condolences will lift you with love and appreciation of your mother.
As you know, I knew Eilis initially as a most supportive mum on sidelines, and tennis matches, and in recent years as an encouraging Bridge member in Milltown or at House Bridge.
Lisa, Eilis’s apéritif and chat with you will leave an empty evening. Barry, Eilis enjoyed telling me when she had booked to see you in Lisbon, or when you were scheduled to come over to Dublin. Eilis often reminded me that Karin was “ a bit of a rogue” I didn’t agree. Karin, you were full of personality, just like your mum!
I deeply regret that I am unable to be at Eilis’s funeral mass.
I offer you all my sincere condolences at this very sad time.
R.I.P.Eilis a lovely lady , will be missed by family and friends, lovely memories of Donegal 2019.
Dear Lisa, Barry and Karin,
I doubt you'll remember the great times we had with you in Glenamuck and Claremont Pines when I used to visit from Rome with Marco and Paola. I got to know your amazing Mum so much better after I left Ireland and used to come home on visits even though we were in the same class in Monkstown. She was the most amazingly positive and cheerful persons I've ever known- the tributes paid to her sum it up so wonderfully. Although you have to be devastated by her sudden loss, you'll have to take comfort in these sincere words that probably fail to adeguately express what she meant to us all.
Lots of love and affection to you all!
Barbara
