Very sorry to hear of the death of your lovely mother Eilis. I have happy memories of herself, and John, throughout my childhood. So many Sunday lunches in your house, with my Gran, picking up ice-cream on the way there, before the shops closed after Mass.

I fondly remember so many hours spent in your kitchen both in Wynberg Park and Avoca Ave with the warmth of her welcome and the authenticity of her interest in us all.
She was the fulcrum of your family and her loss will run deep but I hope you will have many wonderful memories to console you in the difficult days and weeks ahead. May her gentle soul rest in peace.

I am sorry for the loss of your mum, she was great company with plenty of conversation and interesting ideas on life. Apart from her many interests in life, art, politics, world affairs, etc. she was a wonderful cook. Her pastries were second to none!
Your mother got great value out of life and is now at peace. We shall miss her.
