She was an inspirational teacher and a fantastic role model. I hope you will get some consolation from knowing how highly she was thought of around Raheny. We thank Éilís for praying for us and so many others by name on a daily basis. Éilís died as she lived her life - in Gods faith, in his service and in his love. Rest in peace Éilís.

I had the privilege of being a pupil of Mrs O'Shaughnessy in Scoil Aine, in all honestly she was my favourite teacher of all time. She had a warmth about her and treated you like her own. I cried leaving her class. I met her several times after leaving school and she always stopped me for a chat and loved hearing how i was doing. Such a kind, friendly lady who will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Rest in peace Eilis and thanks for the wonderful memories you gave me in school. Heaven will have the best bed for you xx

A great lady & a great teacher. I was her student in Scoul Aine in the early seventies. Undoubtedly the most influential teacher I ever had RIP.
